A Blade Runner TV show is in the works at Amazon Studios, the media giant has confirmed,

with the original film’s director Ridley Scott on board as executive producer.

Cutting edge Sprinter 2099 will be a restricted series, and is imagined as a continuation of the first 1982 movie and its 2017 spin-off,

Edge Sprinter 2049, which was coordinated by Denis Villeneuve.

Silka Luisa, who has worked on Corona and adjusted and functioned as showrunner on the Apple TV+ science fiction spine chiller Sparkling Young ladies,

will act as showrunner on Edge Sprinter 2099.

Alcon Diversion, which holds the freedoms to Sharp edge Sprinter, said Luisa has fostered a "provocative storyline" for the show.
